Getting started

Welcome to 1 NGO

How to set up donations, your public website, and the tools in the dashboard sidebar.

These guides are for organisation owners and admins. Each link opens the matching dashboard screen in a new tab.

Typical first week

  1. Turn on two-step verification in Settings & More → Security.
  2. Connect Paystack in Integrations → Payment → Paystack so gifts can be received.
  3. Add your Integrations → Domains — especially the Main Website URL if you are building a full site.
  4. Publish a Website Manager → Donate Page and at least one Website Manager → Campaigns.
  5. Optional: pair Integrations → WhatsApp Updates for 1:1 summaries and gift alerts, add Integrations → Update webhooks for your own automations, or turn on email in Settings & More → Notifications.

Platform billing (your 1 NGO subscription) is separate from donor payments. Donor money goes to your nonprofit Paystack account.
